Catching up with other DL fans [May. 25th, 2007|07:40 am]
David Levithan Books!

[Mood |curiouscurious]

I feel pretty bad, since I never had a chance to promote this community since I was overwhelmed with school, but now that summer has come, I figured I might try.

So David has a new book coming out in late August, one that he co-wrote with Rachel Cohn, Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. I'm looking forward to it.

He also co-edited 21 Proms with Daniel Ehrenhaft.

So how is everyone? What are you currently reading while we wait for the latest by David?

Hope everyone is well.

I mentioned a couple of books in a recent blog, but I just finished _The Plain Janes_ a graphic novel by Cecil Castellucci and Jim Rugg.

On my immediate to read list: Zusak's The Book Thief, CG Watson's Quad, Shusterman's Everlost, and I'm waiting for Hartinger's latest, Dreamquest, to arrive in the mail, it's already a few days late.

I'm also doing research for a couple of projects.

At least we'll have a cowritten book until January, until then I guess we just keep rereading his other stuff, eh?

Do you have a favorite book by him?

Mine is a three way tie among Realm of Possibility, Marly's Ghost and Nick and Norah.

So far I think "The Book Thief" is his best book, and I love his other ones. I'm not that far into it.

I liked "Are We There Yet". I think you'll like "Nick and Norah."
